NIFFF ON TOUR @CERN: A PROMISING ASSESSMENT OF THE FUTURE STORYWORLDS WORKSHOP’S SECOND EDITION

Last November 23rd and 24th, the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (NIFFF) and the Cineglobe Film Festival at CERN – in collaboration with the Pro Helvetia Swiss Arts Council – held an exceptional workshop which aimed at strengthening the stories from 6 Swiss immersive works of art narratively, technologically, and scientifically. After two days of intense conferences and coaching, the project titled ANOTHER SHORE from Théo Fischer & Pablo Perez (MSLS, Karlskrona & Alumni ECAL, Lausanne) received a development grant of CHF 3,000.

Salômé Guillemin was also encouraged for her project, BLUE D., by the workshop’s new partner STORYTEK – Estonian accelerator and creative innovation pole – who offered her to stay on site during the first quarter of 2019.

The projects were selected following a call to projects with utopia and sustainable development as the main themes. In order to make narrative works and the submitted projects better, the workshop’s partners gathered an impressive group of scientific and immersive storytelling experts.
